Diane Dufresne
An extraordinary encounter between two visionaries meeting off the beaten path, for whom the horizon is all but a starting point. The Dufresne-Lefèvre duo shares complicity and transparent emotion. Here Alain Lefèvre offers a work he named L’enfant prodige (The wonder child), on a text by Diane Dufresne, in homage to composer André Mathieu. Jorane
The Quebecois Jorane has traveled the world over with her cello and her voice. On disc and on stage, whether alone, with a rock group or a symphony orchestra, she reinvents herself and astonishes us every time. Her movie collaborations are ever more frequent and sought-after. She lent Alain Lefèvre her silken voice for two songs on this recording of his own compositions, Carnet de notes.
